Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. My name is Christine Learmouth and I am a Scottish wedding planner based in Argyll. Organising my own wedding brought a range of emotions including stress, joy, pride and love. Planning a wedding is very time consuming and emotionally draining, although I enjoyed every minute of every stage. Based in Oban, I cover the Argyll area of Scotland. Argyll is one of the most scenic parts of the world with an abundance of castles, mountains, lochs, islands and stunning beaches. Whether you are looking to get married in an historical landmark, a traditional church or a modern, boutique hotel, I can help you find the venue of your dreams. Scottish law allows you the choice of where you want to be married (as long as you have the land owner’s permission and you choose an officiate willing to conduct the ceremony.) The premises must be licensed if you choose to have a civil ceremony conducted by a registrar. Most humanist and some religious celebrants will consider almost any venue as long as safety is not an issue and the sanctity of the marriage vows are taken seriously.

I offer a bespoke service and can help you with as much or as little of your wedding arrangements as you wish. Every wedding is unique and every couple different. Some people know exactly what they want for their wedding day and only need some advice here and there on how to achieve it. Others don’t know where to start and may need help throughout the entire stages. The choice is yours. I will tailor a package to suit your needs and your budget. With contacts in almost every area of the industry I am able negotiate the best deal for you with Scottish wedding venues and other suppliers including florists, wedding bands, caterers, wedding cakes, photographers, wedding transport, hairdressers, wedding dresses and much more. I do not accept commission from any supplier so my advice is completely impartial. I will help you find what you need to create YOUR dream wedding, whilst staying within your budget…However you visualise your big day, I can help you achieve it.
